Blank wall space doesn't do much to enhance the décor of any room, and in a dining room it can make the room seem cold and unwelcoming. To create a focal point, you can use one large item and accent it with smaller items or you can create a wall grouping with several smaller items. For example, you could start with a large painting, a wrought iron or an architectural wall hanging, a tapestry or mirror and accent it with smaller coordinating items, such as candle wall sconces, vintage plates or cast iron accents. Or creating a stunning arrangement with a visually interesting collage of smaller pieces: tie them together by color, theme, or material.
Another easy way to make your dining place look larger is to avoid congestion. Much clutter will make a smaller dining. Instead of displaying a favorite collection in a small dining, keeping room decor simple and clean. Buy a decorator a few baskets or other containers that you can use to store the records.
First thing to decide is the type of style you're pursuing. Having your dining room and kitchen both in the same area allows for a more productive Tuscan or country approach. A minimalist approach on the other hand can bring a feeling of space and it's common for the home decors of Asia. If however both rooms are separate you are presented with the choice of random themes.
